Field Pro The Field Pro solution gives service providers a tool that improves their field ticket management process. Service providers use the system in conjunction with their existing IT systems.
Field Engineers and Sales Engineers can create quotes and field tickets at the well site. Changes can be made to the ticket as the job changes. Once the job is complete, the customer signs the ticket on the screen, and the signature is digitally captured along with the ticket.
Integration points allow Field Pro to communicate with your existing invoicing system. Field Pro can also provide modules for contract, catalog, customer, and well management in the event that your systems do not provide support for this type of data. Otherwise, Field Pro will integrate directly with your existing management systems.
The Problem Oilfield services companies that sell complex products and services to operators need to have the ability to generate field tickets at the well site; capture digital signatures; apply a review and approval workflow; and seamlessly integrate this information with other internal and external systems. A manual field ticketing process presents numerous problems for the service provider:
- Customer signatures are not digitally captured at the time of job completion.
- A manual process is time consuming and provides little consistency
- No integration capabilities
- Approved field tickets must be manually entered into the accounting system. The potential for data entry errors is introduced. Redundant work is created since the field ticket data has already been entered once. No ability to integrate with the buyer’s system is provided.
- Increased time to generate invoices. This translates to an increased AR cycle time.
- No traceability from the invoice to the contract to the field ticket.
