Secure and Responsive Data Center

We take business continuity, security, and risk-management very seriously, making every effort to mitigate all potential risks and vulnerabilities. To that end, we've partnered with Rackspace, a global leader in data centers and hosting. Our partnership with them combines our expertise and planning for the FieldFX SaaS with Rackspace's knowledge and experience with server operations. This combination exceeds the capabilities of what most companies are able to provide or afford when acting alone.

SAS 70 Compliant

The FieldFX SaaS data center is engineered to the standards required to support Rackspace's network, which is designed and maintained for security and redundancy. Rackspace is an audited, SAS 70 compliant data center.

Data Backup

The FieldFX SaaS utilizes automated backups that are constantly maintained and utilize both onsite and secure offsite storage. Our FieldFX environment automatically performs daily and weekly backups.  The data is stored on a RAID-10 SAN array that is inherently redundant. 

Guaranteed Performance

Because of the Cloud nature of FieldFX, additional servers and resources can be added at any time, allowing FieldFX SaaS to scale in response to increased traffic or computing demands. FieldFX is continuously monitored for loading and response times. Rest assured, that the fast performance  that you get from FieldFX will be consistent in the future, as your company's usage grows.

Physical Security

Only authorized Rackspace data center personnel are granted access. No one else can enter the production area of the data center without prior clearance and an appropriate escort. Keycard protocols, biometric scanning protocols and round-the-clock interior and exterior surveillance monitor access to the Rackspace data center. Every Rackspace data center employee undergoes multiple and thorough background security checks before they are hired.

Precision Environment

The data center's HVAC (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning) system is N+1 redundant. This ensures that a duplicate system immediately comes online should there be an HVAC system failure. Every 90 seconds, all the air in our data centers are circulated and filtered to remove dust and contaminants. The advanced fire suppression systems are designed to stop fires from spreading in the unlikely event one should occur.

Conditioned Power

Should a total utility power outage ever occur, the data centers' power systems are designed to run uninterrupted, with every server receiving conditioned UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) power.Our UPS power subsystem is N+1 redundant, with instantaneous failover if the primary UPS fails.If an extended utility power outage occurs, our routinely tested, on-site diesel generators can run indefinitely.

Core Routing Equipment

Only fully redundant, enterprise-class routing equipment is used in the data centers. Fiber carriers enter our data centers at disparate points to guard against service failure.

Certified Network Technicians

Rackspace requires the networking and security teams working in our data centers to be certified. We also require that they be thoroughly experienced in managing and monitoring enterprise level networks.
